❝ Daughter of Ogi Zenin and elder twin sister of Mai Zenin. Born a non-sorcerer in one of the Big Three Families, Maki was constantly mistreated and felt compelled to expel herself from her clan, aspiring to be a great jujutsu sorcerer to spite her family.

After surviving severe injury during the Shibuya Incident, Maki returned to the Zenin estate only to lose her twin -- the trauma of Mai's death and final gift instigating an apotheosis that tempered Maki into a monster the likes of which hasn't been seen since Toji Fushiguro. With her newfound abilities, Maki laid waste to the clan of her birth in one day of bloody vengeance, later hunting down the survivors to complete the destruction of the Zenin for good. ❞

IN CHARACTER

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Yes, providing they're either fellow second years or first years, but outside of that small circle expect some pushback. Maki is prickly about people getting too comfortable in her personal space.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Probably won't start any fights unless pushed to it, but she's got that manic battle high energy and the whole bullshit athleticism via Heavenly Restriction situation going on, so... just be aware of what you're getting into. Cool with discussing story beats worth hitting/aftermath if that's a preference.

CR WISHLIST: Open door policy for Jujutsus from the chaotic trio first years all the way up to the disaster curses and all that good stuff. Green light for crosscanon/AU/assumed CR.
Ships - Character chemistry is king. If characters vibe, I'll probably be into it.
Not interested in Maki/Mai, Maki/Naoya, or dynamics aimed at rounding off Maki's sharp edges.

PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: N/A, no defenses to speak of.

MAGICAL INFORMATION: Same deal as Toji Fushiguro in that she has zero cursed energy to speak of, making her more or less "invisible" to sorcerers relying on sensing cursed energy in their surroundings. The wiki's blurb on Heavenly Restriction has more details if you wanna dig into how stuff works.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: Heavily scarred. Maki's tough, but no access to RCT (reverse cursed energy) means she can't pull any ridiculous regenerative tricks like the more busted jujutsu sorcerers hanging around the setting.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Her sister's death is a sore spot. Bring up Mai at your own peril.

OUT OF CHARACTER

BACKTAGGING: Within reason. I'm cool with giving more wiggle room for dense prose exchanges, but if tags are starting to get sparse and the hooks are thinning out, I'll cut my losses and move on. No hard feelings.

THREADHOPPING: Situational. If it's an exchange that's intensely invested in CR/has a specific goal in mind, probably not. If it's just lighthearted shooting the breeze texts then go right ahead.

FOURTHWALLING: Nah.

NOT INTERESTED IN: "Woobifying" Maki's trauma, instant smut, overly sentimental threads.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VISUAL: INTIMIDATING... she was already considered a bit scary even before she got scarred up to all hell, so that's really not going to help matters much. Has a chronic case of RBF and no real interest in softening herself to make herself more palatable for the comfort of those around her. Very much a "what you see is what you get" person.

OLFACTORY: Weapon oil, laundry detergent, or clean sweat if she's been exercising. Maki's not really the type to marinate in perfume.

DEMEANOUR: Standoffish. Prone to holding herself at a distance if she doesn't know someone well, but can lapse into exasperated affection around friends and classmates in a "you're an idiot, but you're my idiot" sort of way.
